I was born and raised on the Gulf Shores of Southeast Texas. I am married and mother of three beautiful kids. I began sculpting in 2004 after I saw my very first one of a kind fairy on eBay. It was a piece by FITA, the fairy was photographed flying in the air and I thought, "Wow! How amazing is that!" I was hooked ever since.

I began researching and found online tutorials and it wasn't before long I had created my very own ooak fairy! And boy was she ugly! After may years and advice from wonderful art doll artist friends, I am still able to create these wonderful little creatures from clay. It is my passion, my joy and I am excited to share them with the world.

I have hundreds of art dolls in different homes across the United States and even have some in Italy, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Canada.

All my art dolls are now created over a wire armature and series baked to insure thorough baking. Sculptures are baked at 265 degrees in a convection oven. I use a mix of polymer clays, to achieve the desired skin tone. Prosculpt, Puppen Fimo, or Cernit are my favorites. Blushing is done with an assortment of mixed media from flat powders to Genesis Oil Paints.
